Good day beautiful people and lovers of diy, it's another great day and I hope you are all doing great, seeing most of the creativities here, its shows there are great minds with talent here to make lovely and creative things that are useful to us in one way or the other.

Most of us like to create things that would have cost us huge amount of money to buy from the stores by ourselves which is such a good and great idea, I see most decorations design here made from waste material which was transformed into something nice and beautiful. Well today, I will be sharing how I made this useful small wallet from pieces of fabric

I made this small coin and card wallet using combination of two different pieces of left over fabrics with small zipper and pressing button to secure one side of the wallet with flip cover.

Let me take you through the cutting and sewing process.

I measured and cut out 2 pieces of fabric with lining and interfacing measuring 4.5 x 5"

I measured another piece of fabric from a different color measuring 7 x 4.5"

It was folded in two and I sew it at the top where I folded it

I ironed an interfacing on both pieces and I placed the other color on one of the pieces and it was sewn on both sides after which it was set aside

I cut out 2 pieces of fabric to make the flip cover, both were placed together right side to right side and it was sewn together from one end to the other

I turned it inside out and it was top stitched on

The main fabric was folded in two to locate the middle and I placed the flip cover on it mid point to mid point and it was sewn at the top

I placed a small zipper on it with lining and it was sewn together on both sides after which it was top stitched on the right side

Place fabric to fabric and lining to lining and it was sewn together with a curve on the edges

The excess were trimmed off and it was turned through the opening on the lining

Finally, I used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button to the flip cover and the opposite side and this is the beautiful outcome

With this, you can have your coins and card kept save and secure before putting it in your bag.

I hope you like the beautiful outcome and how useful this is, you can as well follow the simple step by step process to make one for yourself or as a gift to your someone around you.
