we want to inform you that our DIY Token engagement features
!DIY !DIYSTATS will be deactivated from now on.We've noticed that many users have been excessively exchanging tokens in ways that don't align with our original vision. As a result, a large number of comments have been sent by our main account without adding any real value to the Hive community. Thank you also to @themarkymark for pointing this out.
These features began as a long-term experiment, and while they helped raise awareness of DIYHub as a side-effect, the current situation calls for a reevaluation. The token commands were intended as a way to appreciate great DIY projects and not as a tool for ping-pong milking. The use of comments as user feedback was surely not the best either so the decision to deactivate this concept was an easy one for us.
We are going to rethink how the token is used and shared between users. Moving forward, we may consider limiting these features exclusively to the DIYHub community, or we might explore entirely new ways for you to engage with the token. If there are any updates, we will be sure to inform you in this way.
