Hello gorgeous diyhub members, today am exceptionally happy to show us all how this craft was achieved.
Earlier today I went to a friend's house to visit after a long time of not seeing each other. After a while of sitting his two younger brothers who are in their elementary class came back home with an assignment from school though they are in the season of writing exam but this specific assignment was ment for their art and craft. The total examination mark for the art and craft subject was a total of 60marks so the assignment carries a total mark of 15marks while the objective and essay would be 45marks making it all together 60marks.
My friend was happy they gave them something as simple as a fish though not that simple. They actually ask for his help and off course he was going to help out even if they didn't ask cause his not gonna let them fail for anything. They were giving money to go buy some of the materials in the nearest store close to the house like the cardboard and water glue since there is scissor available in the house.
The journey or making this craft was a delightful one😁 at first I thought it was something so simple just an ordinary fish 🐟 not until he started the procedures 😕. He had to do a rough sketch of a fish on a sheet of paper as a guide before he was able to achieve his goal. It was not 100% because I noticed something was missing in the fish body which is the fins 😁 anyways our concern was for it to bring out the shape of a fish 🐟 which I think such was achieved . I was glad to have witnessed all the procedures and also help out at least when they give my own siblings similar assignment to do I will be glad to help them out with theirs.
To begin with the crafting of the fish these were the materials needed to achieve it:
1.Cardboards: green 💚, skyblue, red ♥️, blue 💙 yellow 💛 and black.
- Water glue
- A pair of scissor ✂️
- Rule and pencil
**PROCEDURES**
Step 1
For the first step I started it by measureing a square shape ⬛ using a rule📏 and a pencil to bring out a perfect shape and then cut out the shape using a scissor. After that my friend did the next step by folding the square Into a form of a triangle.
**Step 2 **
He then used the scissor to carve out a shape that looks like a fish shape and at this point it was almost beginning to look like fish 😏
Step 3
From the middle part we cut out some lines with the scissor a total of six strips.
Step 4
We used the glue to first attach the two middle line followed by the other lines from both the left and right side placing it on top each other.
Step 5
The next thing was to carry the next two remaining lines and placed it on each other which gave us the fish tail. For the eye he cut a little circle from the black cardboard and placed it using the glue.
Note: we did same steps and placed it under the first one we did so the head of the fish has air inside looking like a real fish head. And also We repeated all steps for the other colored cardboard papers.
