¡Hola corazones! Hoy les comparto con mucho amor mi propuesta para el concurso de reciclaje con temática tropical. En esta ocasión, decidí reutilizar un pote de papitas (similar al de Pringles) por sus dimensiones ideales para convertirlo en una pieza multifuncional: puede ser una lapicera, una alcancía o simplemente un detalle decorativo lleno de alegría

Hello, my dears! Today I'm sharing with you my entry for the tropical-themed recycling contest. This time, I decided to repurpose a potato chip container (similar to a Pringles container) because of its ideal dimensions, making it a multifunctional piece: it can be a pen holder, a piggy bank, or simply a decorative detail full of joy.

🌊 Paso 1: Forrado base
Lo primero que hice fue forrar el pote con foami azul claro, evocando el cielo o el mar tropical. Esta base nos permite jugar con los contrastes y resaltar los elementos decorativos

Step 1: Base Cover
The first thing I did was cover the pot with light blue foam, reminiscent of the tropical sky or sea. This base allows us to play with contrasts and highlight the decorative elements.

🏝️ Paso 2: Creación de la mini isla y palmera
Con foami marrón, verde y otros colores vibrantes, diseñé una pequeña isla con su palmera. También preparé figuras como el sol, flores tropicales y detalles que evocan el verano y la playa.

Step 2: Creating the Mini Island and Palm Tree
Using brown, green, and other vibrantly colored foam, I designed a small island with a palm tree. I also created shapes like the sun, tropical flowers, and details reminiscent of summer and the beach.

🎨 Paso 3: Ensamblaje y retoques
Una vez listas todas las piezas, las fui pegando cuidadosamente para dar forma al diseño. Para realzar la textura y darle un acabado más artístico, utilicé pinturas en tonos amarillo, azul, verde y marrón (este último lo obtuve mezclando colores, ya que no lo tenía disponible). Apliqué pequeños toques en las palmeras, el sol y el fondo azul para crear profundidad y ternura visual.

Step 3: Assembly and Retouching
Once all the pieces were ready, I carefully glued them together to give the design its shape. To enhance the texture and give it a more artistic finish, I used paints in shades of yellow, blue, green, and brown (the latter I achieved by mixing colors, as I didn't have any available). I applied small touches to the palm trees, the sun, and the blue background to create depth and visual tenderness.

💡 Usos sugeridos
Si deseas convertirlo en alcancía, solo necesitas hacer una abertura circular en la tapa. Si prefieres usarlo como lapicera, basta con dejarlo abierto. ¡Es versátil, alegre y hecho con mucho corazón!

Suggested Uses
If you want to turn it into a piggy bank, just cut a circular opening in the lid. If you prefer to use it as a pen holder, just leave it open. It's versatile, cheerful, and made with a lot of heart!
