This is the final result. It was so much fun.
This is our friend.. before the makeover
First layer of paint. This is the base.
Ok I change my mind a lot (trust in the process 🙅)
I took my time with my zectangle doodles
Before the zectangle technique
All done!
I tell you, about 3 years ago I reluctantly bought this shelf because I needed space for my things for $10, oh, how ugly! 😂. ! It's a good wooden shelf, but horrendous painted and varnished and to top it off with rattan old fashion. !
But I said to myself, uhm... Someday I'm going to fix it! And the inspiration came.
These were the materials I used:
. Cold paint
. brushes
. black marker
. A glass of water
. White glue
. A cloth or rag
The first step is to create a base, the ideal is to sand it, but I didn't, I applied 3 coats of white paint on all sides.
Once dry, I decided on the colors and designs. I applied several layers of colors and at the end I used the "zectangle" technique on 2 drawers. To seal and shine, I applied white glue and let it dry.
Obviously the water would damage this work, if you want to do something like this, do it with a piece of furniture that is not used daily, otherwise, apply carpentry varnish.
All these photos are my own, made with my Android Infinix note 10 and edited using snapssed.

If not properly followed, one may not understand that the transformation was easily done with paint. You did a nice job.
Yes, in fact, I did not sand the wood or varnish the result because if tomorrow I want to change it, modify it or place it in another room, the paint will come off easily and the wood will suffer less, thanks for reading 💕
