Hello, DiyHub friends! This time, I made a small keychain in the shape of a purse. I hope you like it. I love how it turned out.
Primero hice un molde, en papel y luego lo pase al cuero sintetico pero lo fui cortando en cuadritos pequeños.
First, I made a template out of paper, then transferred it to synthetic leather, but I cut it into small squares.
Empiezo por la parte de abajo del bolso, la base es un rectangulo y coso los otros cuatro rectangulos.
I start at the bottom of the bag. The base is a rectangle, and I sew the other four rectangles.
Luego, en las esquinas voy cociendo por la parte de adentro.
Then, I bake the corners from the inside.
Luego coso la parte de arriba, la correita, volteo el bolso y asi es como se ve:
Then I sew the top part, the strap, turn the bag inside out, and this is how it looks:
Luego viene la tapa la coso desde la parte de atras pór dentro y luego por fuera.
Then comes the cover. I sew it from the back, inside and then outside.
Finalmente, uso un yesquero quemo los hilitos sueltos en la parte de arriba del bolso. Abro un ojal en la tapa y en el centro del bolso coso un botoncito.
Finally, I use a lighter to burn off the loose threads at the top of the bag. I make a buttonhole in the flap and sew a small button in the center of the bag.
De ultimo, por la parte de adentro se cose arriba para que cuando se coloque la tapa quede mas bonito.
Finally, sew the inside part at the top so that when the lid is placed on top, it looks nicer.
