Holaaaa, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo hice una mini creación personalizada. Bueno, este es un bolígrafo que me regaló mi mamá, es en gel de muchos colores. Mientras va fluyendo la tinta va cambiando el color a medida que se va gastando. No lo uso mucho porque me gusta tenerlo para ocasiones especiales, o sea, no lo voy a usar para escribir a diario o cosas así, sino que lo usaría como para mis agendas personalizadas. Bueno, me encanta la idea de personalizar las cosas como los cuadernos, (como ya ustedes han visto) y los bolígrafos no son la excepción, así que acompáñenme a ver cómo realicé mi bolígrafo adornado.

Los materiales que utilicé fueron:
Un metro de hilo, este hilo yo realmente no sé cómo se llama, no es hilo chino, es un poquito más grueso, brillante, no sé cómo se llama pero me gusta y lo encontré en dorado, así que lo compré. Compré un metro, y bueno déjenme decirle que uno no alcanza para decorar completo porque dio al ras, pero sí, la próxima vez ya sé que tengo que comprar más de un metro.
Letras, en este caso usé las de mi nombre.
Yesquero, para quemar las puntas y para derretir el hilo al punto de que se pegue al plástico del bolígrafo.

Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you how I made a mini personalized creation. Well, this is a pen my mom gave me; it's a multi-colored gel pen. As the ink flows, it changes color as it runs out. I don't use it much because I like to save it for special occasions. I mean, I'm not going to use it for everyday writing or anything like that, but rather for my personalized planners. I love the idea of personalizing things like notebooks (as you've seen), and pens are no exception, so join me to see how I made my decorated pen.

The materials I used were:
One meter of thread. I don't really know what this thread is called; it's not Chinese thread, it's a little thicker and shiny. I don't know its name, but I like it, and I found it in gold, so I bought it. I bought a meter, and well, let me tell you, one meter isn't enough to decorate completely because it was right at the edge, but yes, next time I know I have to buy more than a meter.
Letters, in this case I used the letters of my name. A lighter, to burn the ends and to melt the thread until it sticks to the plastic of the pen.

Lo primero que hice fue quemar la puntita como para que se derritiera lo suficiente y pegarla caliente al bolígrafo ya que él queda como un plástico y él queda adherido a este. Luego que se pegó empecé a darles vueltas, una vuelta tras otra. Hasta llegar q la quinta, donde inserté la primera letra. Tengo que decirles que fue un poquito difícil porque tiene que quedar apretadito. Luego de meter la primera letra hay que asegurarse de que la siguiente vuelta quede justa y apretada, para que no se vea como si está separada, pues, se ve feo. Así sucesivamente con cada una de ellas. Cada 5 vueltas inserté cada letra y le aseguré de que quedara bien ajustado.

The first thing I did was melt the tip of the wire until it was hot enough to stick to the pen, since it becomes like plastic and adheres to it. Once it was stuck, I started wrapping it around, one wrap after another, until I got to the fifth wrap, where I inserted the first letter. I have to say it was a little difficult because it has to be tight. After inserting the first letter, you have to make sure the next wrap is snug and tight, so it doesn't look separated, because that looks bad. I did this with each letter. Every five wraps, I inserted each letter and made sure it was secure.

Con un metro de hilo alcanzó hasta la mitad del bolígrafo o menos de la mitad pero es porque él es grueso pero de ser más finito se necesita mucho más de un metro, se necesita alrededor de 4 metros para que quede muy, muy bien si es hilo chino pero si es este con 2 metros y medio se alcanza el objetivo.

Este modelo está bastante lindo a mi gusto. Se pueden hacer de cualquier color, incluso hilos matizados quedan súper hermosos. Espero que les haya gustando tanto como a mí.

With one meter of thread, I reached halfway up the pen, or less, because the thread is thick. If it were thinner, you'd need much more than a meter; you'd need around four meters for a really good result if it's Chinese thread, but with this thread, two and a half meters is enough.

I think this design is quite pretty. You can make them in any color; even variegated threads look beautiful. I hope you liked it as much as I did.
