Hello dear diy lovers, trust you're all doing great.
It's another beautiful day and a beautiful new month. And today I'm excited to share with y'all my recent project I made by recycling old jeans.

So a friend had an even and wanted to gift her girls that'll be attending and she needed 13 pieces of tote bags.
I started from the ones I already had, there was an old denim skirt I no longer wear so I decided to convert it to one or two of the bags.

So first I laid the denim skirt and grab my piece of chalk to mark the measurement I needed for the bag. I marked the width of 10 inches and the length of 20 inches and then cut it out into places to make the front and back pieces.

Next I cut out a long piece of fabric to create the strap for the bag.

After hemming the front and the back at the upper part, I joined them together and also joking the down part and added the handle. Then I used a DTF design and iron to design it and it was looking sharp.

After that first one I did the next 3 using blue denim leftover materials I also had. And some I added extra pockets to them. And their different DTF designs.

Below you can see the four, looking nice and sharp.

So I made the next two, also blue denim.

And my favorite one is this next one I made with blue denim, added side pocket and I really loved this pink dtf with a toon face on it.

I also made other colors and design until the 12 were completed

I was able to complete before the other day though I was given two days to deliver them. So below you see them fully packaged and ready to be sent and gifted.

I enjoyed working on this project because it gave me room to showcase creativity and skill. And accomplishing the task gave me satisfaction.

Thank you all for your time here and I do hope you loved what you've seen here, and yeah you can turn your old jeans into something meaningful, start today, recycle that thing lying around your house. See you all next time 🤗
