Good evening my lovely friends on hive, how was our day happy new week, hope we had a nice weekend .
Today I will like to share this beautiful tutorial on how I made a bridal shower gown for me and my sister for my friend wedding .
My friend wedding came up unexpected she suddenly pick a date and the preparation was very short even at that moment I don't really have much on me , but I have no choice but to buy the bridal shower material and sew for myself and my sister since I'm a tailor the cost will still be affordable , but still yet I spent money, I bought 2 and half trouser yard of material it won't be enough for the both of us but I use my creative brain to manage the material and get the result .
Cutting and sewing step.
I folded the material into two the length of the gown is 36" and I measure 4" out for the lapping allowance at the front then the neck width is 3" and 10" depth at the front after cutting the front I place it on the material and cut out the back .
Sleeve
I folded the material into four 10" by 12" for the sleeve .
Sewing step
After cutting the material I firstly weave the edged of the gown then joined the both side together. After joining I iron it and it look beautiful and unique.
