Good Day Hivers and #Diyhub Community. It's been a While since I engaged in our Community. I've been I'll for some weeks now but I'm getting better now and I'm also privileged to create something nice today . I was going through an article and I came across an image of our Parents or Grandparents First Communication Device.

When I and my Dad was talking about how the telephone was used during his time, he said that it was taken as a Big Man's Property meaning not everyone can afford it. That was really a big Deal. But Thanks to Technology and the effort that has been made to improve communication, now we have Better Telephones and smartphones. So I decided to create one using Carton 🪤 to remember our Parents Golden Age.

Materials I Was Used

Pencil ✏️ and Pen 🖊️

Paper 📜

Scissors ✂️

Razor

Rubber bands

Carton 🪤

Super Glue

Pair of Compass and Ruler

Steps 🪜 I took ☎️

Step 1🪜**:** I had to form the base were the Dial would sit on by drawing a rectangular shape and cutting it out from the Carton

Step 2 🪜**:** Next Step is to draw a Circular Shape which would be used for Creating the Dial Wheel. After that we than cut it out.

Step 3 🪜: We have to make at least 11 Holes for were the Numbers would be displayed.

Step 4 🪜: After Making the Holes, we draw the Numbers 🔢 in the paper we added behind the Dial Wheel. We then add the Rubber Bands to the Dial Wheel we've created for it to be able to rotate back.

Step 5 🪜: I then made the box for the Telephone and added the components I made and reinforced them with super Glue.

Step 6 🪜: Next Step is to form the Handset 📞

Step 7 🪜: After Making the Handset 📞 we add the switch hook.

Finally 🪜

Conclusion 🔚

This piece of work I made makes me to remember how our parents enjoyed communication that time and communication technology is improving year by Year. How do you see my Work? Please drop your Thoughts on the Comment Section.
