I want to share with you how to make a wooden key holder with a beach house theme, ideal for keeping your keys safe and preventing them from getting lost. With this post, I am also entering the contest of the month on beaches and tropical spaces. Needless to say, I love the sea. Materials I used to create my key holder:
-Wood
-Nails
-Stones
-Paint
-Handsaw
Steps to make our key holder:
Steps 1 : Friends I started by cutting the wood to the size we wanted. We're going to cut it with a handsaw. We need three small boards that are 25 centimeters long. Next, I continued cutting a thin board.
Steps 2 :Once we have our boards cut to our liking, we will continue by joining the three boards and securing them with nails. Then, continue by taking the thinner board and adapting it to the other boards horizontally, so it will protect the other boards and prevent them from coming apart.
Steps 3 :As I mentioned at the beginning, this key holder is inspired by a beach house, so continue cutting out some small boards to make a little house. There were 3 pieces, the house is bigger, I glued both pieces together and built my beach house.
Setps 4 : In the next step, I continued taking some small boards and cut out some pieces to form a palm tree or coconut tree. Its leaves are similar to a triangle and finally its trunk or stem.
Setps 5 : Next Friends, with the help of a hammer and some small nails, we will continue placing the small house so that it becomes a beach house. First, we place the triangle-shaped piece, then the two thin boards on top to simulate the roof.
Setps 6: Then, continue hammering nails in, leaving some space between them, to attach wires so that the keys can be hung there. This will be the base of our key holder.
Setps 7 : To finish our design, continue by attaching the coconut palm tree and a small sun. Finally, at the top, I attached some stones to decorate the scene, as we know that these stones can be found on many beaches.
Setps 8: To finish our beach house design, we will continue with our paints and paint the little house, the palm tree, the sun, and at the bottom, blue paint to simulate the sea.
