Same here! I knit a scarf a few years ago, knit two, purl two, and began to loathe it long before it was long enough (see what I did there?). Once it was finally done, a knitting friend of mine told me real knitters hate knitting scarves - they are too boring. I remember enjoying knitting tiny baby sweaters for my babies though. They went fast, and I could choose colors I loved, and there were lots of twists and turns to keep me interested.

Ah that makes sense. My bestie, who knows me too well, said the way my mind works, I'll be racing ahead in my mind to the next thing on mp time. I just can't imagine what that might be yet. My DIL sure knitted an amazing jumper for my son.
