Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well! I am continuing with my plan to plant at home and create a small vegetable garden. This time I made a melon seedbed. The process was very simple and yielded good results. I hope you like it!
Materials
- Egg carton
- Soil
- Melon seeds
- Water
Step by Step

We must apply black soil or soil with fertilizer to the surface of the cardboard and then apply a little water to moisten the soil.

The seeds I used are from a melon that we ate at home. I washed and saved the seeds after drying them on recyclable magazine pages and left them to dry in the sun. After about 5 days, we had to make small holes in the egg carton and insert the seeds, putting 2 seeds in each hole.
Every day, I added a little water to the seeds.

After four days, the seeds began to germinate and sprout from the soil, seeking the sun! So we continued with our routine of watering them in the morning with just a little water!

After 7 days, the little melon plants are ready to be transplanted! You can also let them grow a little longer until they are 12 or 15 days old, but I did it on day 10.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien! Sigo con m plan de siembra en casa y haciendo un pequeños huerto en la casa. Esta vez hice un semillero de melon, el proceso fue muy sencillo y con buenos resultados. Espero que les guste!

Paso a Paso

Debemos aplicar sobre el carton la tierra negra o la tierra con abono sobre la superficie de este y luego aplicamos un poco de agua para mojar la tierra.

Esta semillas que utilicé son de melon, y fue un melon que nos comimos en casa, lave y guarde las semillas luego de secarlas en hojas reciclables de revistas y las dejé secar al sol. Después de unos 5 dias debemos de abrir los pequeños hoyitos en el carton de huevo y debemos introducir las semillas, en cada agujero introduje 2 semillas.
cada dia agregaba un poco de agua sobre las semillas.

A los 4 dias las semillas iniciaron a germinar y a salir de la tierra buscando el sol! Asi que seguimos con la rutina de seguir regando en la mañana solo con un poco de agua!

Pasado 7 dias, las pequeñas plantas de melon se encuentran lista para transplantar! Tambien pueden dejarlas crecer un podo más hasta cumplir los 12 o 15 dias, sin embargo yo lo hice al dia numero 10.
