¡Hola, entusiastas de las manualidades en Hive! Hoy les traigo un tutorial con materiales simples y reutilizables. Se trata de un Costurero, práctico y bonito. Veamos los materiales y el paso a paso.
We will need / Vamos a necesitar:
- 1 Roll of waterproofing tape that I had saved for a second use / 1 Rollo de cinta impermeabilizante que había guardado para darle un segundo uso.
- Fabric scraps / Retazos de tela
- Cardboard sheet / Lámina de cartón
- Liquid silicone and scissors / Silicón líquido y tijeras
- Decorative beads and ribbons / Cuentas y cintas decorativas
- Paint and brush / Pintura y pincel
We start by painting the inside of the roll with a white background; it is necessary to apply several layers.
Iniciamos pintando la parte interna del rollo con un fondo color blanco; es necesario aplicar varias capas.
We are going to mark and cut the cardboard sheet to make a lid and a base for our sewing container, as we can see in the image./p>
Vamos a marcar y cortar la lámina de cartón para realizar una tapa y una base para nuestro costurero, como podemos ver en la imagen.
It's time to line the roll with the piece of fabric; for this we are going to use liquid silicone. For the upper and lower edge we make some cuts in the fabric so that it is better glued and finished.
Es hora de forrar el rollo con el retazo de tela; para esto vamos a utilizar silicón líquido. Para el borde superior e inferior hacemos unos cortes en la tela para que quede un mejor pegado y acabado.
Next, we line the bottom and the lid with the fabric. For the lid I used a makeup sponge to achieve a certain height.
Acto seguido, forramos el fondo y la tapa con la tela. Para la tapa yo coloqué una esponja de maquillaje para lograr cierta altura.
Once we have both pieces ready, we proceed to glue the bottom with silicone.
To achieve a more beautiful and eye-catching finish we will place decorative ribbon on the joints, both on the top and bottom.
Una vez tengamos ambas piezas listas procedemos a pegar el fondo con silicón.
Para lograr un acabado más bonito y llamativo vamos a colocar cinta decorativa en las juntas, tanto en la parte superior como inferior.
To finish we need to place a large wooden bead as a fastener on the lid. We also place 4 legs; in this case I used some natural soapberry seeds that I had on hand. We glue everything with silicone.
Para finalizar necesitamos colocar una cuenta grande de madera como sujetador en la tapa. Igualmente colocamos 4 patas, en este caso utilicé unas semillas naturales de saponaria que tenía a la mano. Vamos pegando todo con silicón.
I wanted to give it an even more decorative touch with a woven bracelet I had saved.
Quise darle un toque aún más decorativo con un brazalete tejido que tenía guardado.
Now we can store our sewing supplies and keep them organized.
Ya podemos guardar nuestros artículos de costura y mantenerlos organizados.
