En está oportunidad hice un lindo topper para mi sobrina @jhos.indigo, quién también hace vida aquí en Hive, por el motivo de su cumpleaños número 20.
He realizado otros toppers antes, pero esta vez me apetecia hacer uno diferente y decidí intentar hacer uno en 3D, así que busqué referencias en internet para guiarme y tener una idea de como queria que fuese.
Sin mas preámbulo les presento la lista de materiales y el paso a paso.

On this occasion I made a nice topper for my niece @ jhos.indigo, who also lives here in Hive, for her 20th birthday.
I have made other toppers before, but this time I wanted to make a different one and I decided to try to make one in 3D, so I looked for references on the internet to guide me and have an idea of what I wanted it to be like.
Without further ado, I present the list of materials and the step by step.

step by step
Lo primero que hice fue en una hoja blanca realizar a lapiz los moldes de las palabras que iba a usar en el topper, en este caso fueron las palabras Happy, Birthday y el número 20.
The first thing I did was on a white sheet of paper to make the molds of the words that I was going to use on the topper in pencil, in this case they were the words Happy, Birthday and the number *20. *
Luego transferí los moldes al foami, y con unas tijeras las recorté.
Como pueden ver las palabras Happy y Birthday las hice en el foami escarchado azúl marino y el número 20 en el foami dorado escarchado.
Then I transferred the molds to the foam, and with scissors I cut them out. As you can see the words Happy and Birthday were made in the navy blue frosted foam and the number 20 was made in the gold frosted foam.
El siguiente paso fue hacer un fondo para las palabras que previamente recorte, para las que recorte en azúl decidí hacerle un fondo en blanco escarchado y lo hice de esta manera: coloque las letras sobre el foami, sin pegarlas, y marque con un lapiz el contorno, luego retiré las letras y recorte.
The next step was to make a background for the words that I previously cut out. For those that I cut out in blue, I decided to make a frosty white background and I did it this way: place the letters on the foam, without gluing them, and mark with a pencil the outline, then I removed the letters and cut out.
Habiendo ya recortado todo el contorno procedí a pegar, con silicón frio, las letras al fondo blanco.
Having already cut out the entire outline, I proceeded to glue the letters to the white background with cold silicone.
Como pueden ver en la imagen luego añadí otra capa de foami, pero esta vez en dorado escarchado y lo hice con el mismo procedimiento anterior.
As you can see in the image, I then added another layer of foam, but this time in frosted gold and I did it with the same previous procedure.
Hice exactamente el mismo procedimiento con el número 20 pero en este caso coloque el fondo de azúl marino y otra capa de foami por de bajo en blanco escarchado.
I did exactly the same procedure with the
number 20 but in this case I placed the navy blue background and another layer of frosty white foam underneath.
Teniendo ya listos todos los apliques de mi topper, procedí a presentarlos, sobre mi foami base, en la forma en la que queria que estuvieran distribuidos.
Having already prepared all the appliqués for my topper, I proceeded to present them, on my foam base, in the way I wanted them to be distributed.
Luego comencé a marcar nuevamente el contorno con un lápiz, retiré las piezas y lo recorte, quedando cómo pueden ver en la imagen algo así como la silueta o base en la que iran los apliques.
Then I began to mark the outline again with a pencil, I removed the pieces and cut it out, leaving as you can see in the image something like the silhouette or base on which the appliqués will go.
Como quería que este topper fuese en 3D hice esta especie de taquitos con restos del foami que ya había recortado y los pegue en la parte de atras de los apliques, para que al pegarlos a la base dieran ese efecto como de 3D. 😁
Since I wanted this topper to be in 3D, I made these kind of little blocks with remains of the foam that I had already cut out and glued them on the back of the appliqués, so that when glued to the base they would give that 3D effect. 😁
Ya por último pegue los apliques a la base y listo, así quedo el topper para mí sobrina. 🥰
Finally, I glued the appliqués to the base and that's it, this is how the topper looked for my niece. 🥰
Siento que tuve un level up en este topper porque nunca había hecho uno en 3D y la verdad me encanto el resultado y a mi sobrina le fascinó y eso me hace muy feliz.
