An happy Monday to all hivers here!
The end of October is close to come and, if you are in later to decor your home (like me 😁), you can create some simple and fast pumpkins using some scraps of paper you have at home!
A couple of years ago I made 3 small crochet pumpkins to decor my home in Autumn, but my furry friends thought those sort of balls were perfect to play and so this year I needed some other decorations and so you can see the final result of my new ones in the following pics:
It's very simple to create the, you need just some scraps of fabric, needle and thread, fiber fill and and some tiny branches from your garden.
At first, you have to cat the fabric in circle shapes like the ones you can see in the pic:
Now sew gathering stitch turn the edge of the circle to create a sort of small bag:
Put the fiber fill inside that "bag":
Close the "bag with some stiches. Now you have a sort of soft ball.
To gave it the form of a pumpkin you have to push your needle in the center of the ball (at the top) and pushed the needle down, after pull the thread outside of the pumpkin to come back to the top and repeat it for 5 times (or more).
Push (or glue) a small branch in the center of the top of the pumpkin and it's ready to decor a corner of your home.
