Not only do we enjoy making various kinds of crafts, but we also get the opportunity to participate in monthly contests. Moreover, we get a golden opportunity to connect with each other, which helps build strong relationships.I'm excited to take part in the #diytropical contest today through my blog.and sharing my creative take on the theme.
For this contest, I made a toy insect using tissue paper, decorated with different colors. I'm currently using it as a toy for my son. In fact, I’ve made several of these little bugs. As many of you know, I love creating different types of DIY toys because my son is still very young. That’s why I try to make toys for him to keep him happy and engaged. I believe he can learn creative skills from me through these projects, and hopefully, develop an interest in making things himself. I’ve noticed that whenever he gets these handmade toys, he becomes very excited and focuses deeply while playing with them.So come along as I show you the step-by-step process of how I crafted this cute little insect using simple tissue paper and a bit of creativity.

Ingredients:

🌲Tissue paper
🌲Colored pencils (or various colored pencils)
🌲1 stick (or a small wooden stick/skewer)
🌲Glue
🌲Water
🌲Ruler
Instruction:
Instruction: - First, I gently tore the tissue paper by hand into the size I needed

- Then, I used a ruler to draw colorful lines on the tissue paper with different colored pencils

- Next, I placed a stick on the tissue paper and wrapped it around to form a roll

- I applied glue to the end of the tissue paper to make sure it stayed rolled up properly."

- Then, I gently pressed both ends of the tissue paper with my fingers, now the insects body has a nice crinkled look
- Next, I used colored pencils to draw a cute little face on the front of the worm
- I’m adding black color to the top part of the worm’s body to give it more detail
- And there you have it a cute, colorful worm is all done.I’ve also made a few more of them in the same way.
- Finally, I picked up the colorful tissue paper worms and tried to snap a fun photo with them
- Now, look what happens when I pour water over the tissue paper worms,it looks like they’re moving, which is really funny to watch
- Finally, I tried capturing them from different angles. As you can see, they turned out really well! They look so attractive, especially because of the vibrant colors. Even though they’re just toys, they look quite eye-catching
In conclusion, worms play a crucial role in maintaining the health of our environment. They are essential for preserving soil balance and ensuring a stable ecosystem. By enhancing soil strength and helping retain vital nutrients, worms contribute significantly to the fertility of the earth. Their presence supports a thriving habitat for plants and other organisms. Therefore, it’s important to recognize worms as a key component of our ecosystem, deserving of our respect and protection.
