I can't believe it's that time of the year again. "Maybe I believe because of the happenings around me," the Christmas songs that I hear every day, the Christmas trees I see in every house I visit, or the shopping mall.
Talking about the Christmas trees, "That's what I made." Yeah, the Christmas tree is one of the symbols of the season; what's Christmas without the Christmas trees? Well, I don't think Christmas would be complete without these amazing trees.

Firstly, I started by making a magic ring, and I made a chain of three and continued by making two double crochet and a chain two and another set of three double crochet.
By the end of row one. I will have four openings to enable me to mark my granny square, and then I end with a slip stitch.
For the second row. I made a chain of three, two double crochet, a chain of two and three double crochet. My first chain of three counted as one double crochet. I have three double a chain of two and three double crochet. I continued by repeating the same process till I was done with my row two.
For the next rows, I repeated the same process with a little difference because of the extra opening created. In each opening, I made three double crochet, and for the edges of the granny squares, I made three double chains of two and three double crochet.
I got to my desired length, and it was time to join the edges; I joined the edges by using my crochet needle and yarn to make a slip stitch in each of the stitches.
I decided to add some nice things to make my Christmas tree look unique, so I made little flowers with other colors of yarns I was having in the house. For the flowers I made a magic ring, and inside the ring, I made a chain of three and two double and one half double crochet and ended with a slip stitch. I repeated the same process till I got a total of four and drew the other side of the yarn and came out looking like a flower.
Then, for the bottom part, I made a chain of seven and made double crochet in each of the seven stitches and ended with a chain of three. Then, I turned my project and made another set of seven double crochet and a chain, and I was done. Then I sewed it to my Christmas tree.
