I often see asymmetrical bracelet designs online that look really pretty. The picture below shows my many attempts at designing one.
This design looks like it has potential! I was going for a lotus/floral theme. I placed the large glass flower (about 1.7 cm) on one side and added some hanging accessories on the right.
If you wonder how I prep the flower petal for stringing, here is how it looks like for the back. I used a ball pins to go through the flower, then rolled the remaining tail into loops with round-nose pliers
I folded the elastic string in half and pinned one side with a hairpin as a bead stopper to make the process easier. Then I hook the other side of the string with a bead needle.
I placed two smaller glass beads beside the flower to prevent it from clashing with the 10mm beads.
The beads are strung—now it's time for the chains!
I trimmed the silver chains to my desired length and attached them to the bracelet using jump rings. The process wasn’t easy! Took some time to get them right.
Here’s how it looks!
I finished the bracelet with a sturdy knot and cut off the excess string—now it's complete!
The bracelet doesn’t look bad, but when I tried wearing it and swinging my wrist to mimic real-life movement, the chain part didn’t feel convenient. It tended to get tangled at times
I still feel happy of how it turns out at the end.
