Sometimes the beauty of an outfit lies in the kind of fabric we use but other times it is what we make with the fabric we have. But then a combination of good fabric and the design we make we make of each fabric bring out the best in each clothes
I made this beautiful blue dress for my neighbors for the neighbors for the Salah and I thought to share with you the making process for the outfits.
This is one expensive laces sold at $4 for a yard. Combination of the quality of fabrics and the design I made of the dress made it beautiful. The woman is my neighbor and has three lovely daughters. She left me with the charge of her daughters outfits for the Salah because I have made one dress for her before and she so much trust my skill.
Here is the back of the dress
I am so happy that she can trust me with her clothes
I started with cutting the clothes and adding excess at the hem
Next I had cut the front block adding darts to meet the childrens shape
Next is the sewing section, I joined all the seam of the skirt and the top.
After sewing that I had cut a straight sleeve to attach to the dress leaving a flower pattern of the blue lace to form the hem of the sleeve
Now I had finished joining the sleeves and you can see the outcome of the dress. I sewed three dresses for the girls and had them hung outside my shop. Almost everyone that passed by commented on the simple dress I made that came out so lovely
The girls loved their dresses and I wished that they had sent me their lovely pictures in it.
