Seems like Fluffychat has not quite finished their upgrade yet to the latest version, BUT, "Element (riot.im)" on the android app store is awesome. It was built with Kotlin too, so it runs much faster than the old Java version :)
The videoconferencing is WAAAAAAAY better with Element too, so give it a shot!
