Comfortable Linden Tea

Hello everyone, my presentation today, is a vibrant linden tea with cinnamon. This herb is an ancient infusion, I remember it when I was a child. My aunts used to give us this tea, since I was a child, every time I had a fever or a cold. In particular, I loved that flavor combined with the cinnamon stick, which also served as a relaxant, the next day we got up without discomfort.

At that time I only knew linden, chamomile, cinnamon and lemon, now in this modern world I have discovered the variety of herbs that exist in the market and the combinations that can be made between them. And above all I assimilated, that its healing powers ingesting it, took away my cold, fever and other general ailments and I slept all night long.

Hola a todos, mi presentación de hoy, es un vibrante té de tilo con canela. Esta hierba es una antigua infusión, la recuerdo cuando era niña. Mis tías acostumbraban a administrarnos, este té, desde que era niña, cada vez que al quién presentaba fiebre o resfriado. En lo particular, me encantaba ese sabor combinado con la rama de canela; que también, cumplía su labor como relajante, al otro día nos levantábamos sin molestias.

Para ese entonces yo solo conocía el tilo, la manzanilla, la canela y el limón, ahora en este mundo moderno he descubierto la variedad de hierbas que existen en el mercado y las combinaciones que se pueden hacer entre ellas. Y sobre todo asimilé, que sus poderes curativos ingerirla, me quitaban, el resfriado, la fiebre y otros malestares generales y dormía toda mi noche.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of linden (two handfuls)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar or honey to taste
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • The juice of a lemon.

En este día mi esposo no ha dormido bien, le da insomnio y el calor lo fastidia, por esos motivos la tensión no la tiene estable, al ir al médico y hacerle los estudios pertinentes, este, le recomendó que tomará antes de ir a la cama un té de tilo, para que baje, los niveles de ansiedad y pueda reposar, desde que está tomando el té, ha podido conciliar el sueño y ha superado su ansiedad.

De inmediato le indico la receta, esperando todos estén bien.


Ingredientes:

  • 2 tazas de agua
  • 2 cucharadas de tilo (dos puñados)
  • 1 cucharada de azúcar o miel al gusto
  • 1 ramita de canela
  • El jugo de un limón.

Preparation:

Wash the lemon very well and reserve. Put the water, and add the cinnamon, cover, when it comes to a boil, add the linden, add the sugar, the lemon juice and half of it in the tea. Leave for three minutes, turn off the heat, let stand for five minutes, uncover, strain and serve.

Lave muy bien el limón y reserve. Monte el agua, y le añade la canela, tape, cuando rompa al hervor, agregar el tilo, añadir, el azúcar, el jugo de limón y la mitad de este, en el té. Dejar por tres minutos, apagar el fuego, dejar reposar por cinco minutos, destapar, colar y servir.
