Hello, friends. Today I want to share with you a recipe that I enjoy all the time. Although I have bananas at home every day, this is only the second time I share with you a drink with this amazing fruit. I have experimented with this mix on other occasions, always preparing it frappé type, but this time I want to do something a little different.

- 1 small banana (approximately 60 grams).
- A splash of lemon juice (about 30 ml).
- 2 oz (60 ml) of rum.
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (about 15 grams).

Preparing this drink is very simple. I just had to put all the ingredients in the blender cup, one after the other: the banana, the lime juice, the rum, the sugar and the ice. Then, I blended it for about 40 seconds. This will be enough to crush the ice and dissolve the sugar completely.

Once ready, I was able to obtain about 230 grams of this delicious and peculiar drink. To give it a more aesthetic touch, I added a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass.
Lemon and rum are versatile ingredients that usually combine well with many alcoholic beverages, but what about banana? I assure you that it gives a unique flavor to this drink. Its sweetness softens the citrus flavor of the lemon and blends perfectly with the rum. The result is a refreshing and delicious drink, ideal for those hot days. The banana gives flavor to this drink and reduces the excess of citrus and alcohol, making it less perceptible to our palate.
Do not hesitate to try this recipe. I guarantee you will love it and you will want to enjoy it on more than one occasion. If you wish, you can add a little more ice to make it more like a frappé. However, I guarantee you a sure success.
