Many of us may have heard about a true murder story which is famously known as HELLO KITTY MURDER. It is one of the darkest cases of torture,rape and murder that I have heard and that is what we're going to talk about right now.

In may 1999, a young girl 14 years of age goes to a police station in Hong-Kong claiming that she is being haunted by the ghost of a restless woman the ghost is of a recently deceased 23 years old woman called FAN MAN YE.

She was a waitress a drug addict a nightclub hostess and a prostitute. The young girl who went to the police known as a Fong probably an alias because of her age claimed to police that for nearly a month. Fan Man Ye was brutally mercilessly tortured for a month leading up to her death and the young girl Fong knew this cause she was actually quite heavily in the torture herself along with three other men.
The young girl told this story of how this was kidnapped and tortured and eventually murdered. To be honest the police were in disbelief they didn’t actually want to believe it. They thought may be this girl was a drug addict herself. So she was spinning a load of bullshit.
Police decided that they were going to investigate. When they were reached, they discovered evidence that the girl had said was in fact true. When they opened apartment 31 on Granville road in kowloon they were hit immediately by the putrid smell of festering decaying human flesh.
This apartment was owned by 34 years old Chan Man Lock who was a drug lord and leader.
In 1997, Chan met Fan, she was at that time well known prostitute. So she quickly fell to drug addiction, she got into prostitution selling herself to pay for this drug addicted way of life. She was married and had a baby boy. She was single mother. When she met Chan, she grew a strong bonding between them. One day Fan stole some money from Chan's wallet. When she stole, Chan found it very quickly. He went to Fan and asked for money and she paid the amount back in full straight away. However, he wanted interest and it was four thousand dollars.
She paid back four thousand dollars and added six thousand dollar as interest. But it still wasn’t enough for this man. He wants sixteen thousand dollar in exchange for her stealing the four thousand dollar.
Fan couldn’t come up with this So Chan and two other triad member s kidnapped her. They took her the apartment where all the evidence has found and this is where the true depravity of this story begins.

Chan Man Lock, two other triads and his 13 years old who is the girl who went to the police station. Chan wanted to use Fan as his own personal prostitute until the debt is repaid. For some unknown reason he using Fan for sex until he was done. Then he decided to get physical and begin beating her with two triads. They began torturing Fan in incredibly dark horrific ways.
The apartment of Chan weirdly decorated throughout HELLO KITTY that was never explained. Chan, two other guys and 13 years old girl all torturing this poor woman.
They used to melt plastic straws and dropped on Fan's base feet then they pour chilly on top of the blisters to intensify the pain. They would tie her up and use broken chair legs, pipes to beat her. They would also put chili into her wounds, eyes. They would urinate in her mouth, make her drink motor oil. The 13 years girl even said when talking to police she defecated in a shoe box and forced Fan to eat.
Once all the rape, beatings, torture took Fan one morning being hung from a hook in living room. Now It's not known whether it was for drug overdosed or torturing that she had endured 3 and half weeks.
This time the four began to panic. They thought they need to get rid of her body. They took death body to the bath tub and dismembering her body. Then they decided to cook all of her body parts. They stored a lot of muscles and vital organs on fridge.This called the HELLO KITTY MURDER is because they store Fan's cooked head on a hello kitty mermaid doll and sewed it up.

After this, the girl began getting nightmares reoccurring seeing the torture and thought that Fan was becoming a restless spirit so she went to the police and spilled the beans on everything to them.
Police arrested Chan man lock and his two triads and took them into prison for 20 years. But unfortunately after 20 years this was in December of 2020.
