We came to earth without our consent. Once we are dissolved into its soil. A short time in between we end up living life. Some are moving forward as usual. Come walk the world of money and status.
When they live in this society according to a standard written by someone else in the past, some are isolated from everything and stands alone. They see things differently. Everyone they see in the world is a stranger, they see the world outside them as complete chaos.
The hero of the Taxi Driver film is such a person. He has no family, no soul mates, no other connections. He pushes every day without being noticed by anyone among the billions of people. If he wants to live, he has to work for himself. He has to travel around the city seven days a week, a large part of each day. He works 24 hours, he can't sleep. For him everywhere he goes there is loneliness.
The horrible face of that city full of robbers, prostitutes and traitors always pass in front of him. He wants to clean up the city. But what change is he supposed to bring ??
.
Have you experienced the pain of isolation? Have sleepless nights driven you insane? The pain of loss was felt inside him for the first time, even when his girlfriend rejected him.
He began to try to escape from that state of isolation. He caught the attention of others and made up his mind to do something useful for someone with his life. He discovered a 12-year-old prostitute. His only life was to save her from that cruel society. In a way, it was an escape for him too. In desperation with society, it took the form of revenge. He turned out to be ready for anything.
He awoke to the enthusiasm and vigour of a soldier who had fought in the Battle of Pandora. Keeping the rhythm of his mind only for that one goal, he moved on. He returned for the last game he had risked his life for.

One of the most realistic characters in the history of cinema .. a deadly item that later became the inspiration for many legendary characters including the Joker. Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver.

Travis always influenced me a lot, when I feel lonely, it's Travis's room that comes to mind. But we are not lonely like him, if we are living like that we also are searching for redemption.

Thanks for suggesting a good movie. I might watch it this week.

tell me about it after watching.

Travis Room, I so wanna look that up, it already sounds like a movie with great content, I love to sit in solitude and enjoy a nice movie that would open me to some life rough corners.

Living in Isolation, that's something with quite a lot of meanings, just like the unnoticed taxi driver, it didn't entail him staying at home all day, but rather the loneliness that was felt within as though he was living like a ghost. Such sad.
