Describe Your Best Adda Ever: End Of Year Party

My best hangout ever was attending an end of year party in an Housing estate where I formerly resided at. There was this sitout that most of the male occupants of the estate used to hangout especially those who liked to drink beer or wine. This Bar was owned by an elderly man and was managed by his son who was find of the customers. We usually patronized their business as the bar was a place we will go to chill whenever we were bored at home and needed to hook up with our close friends such as our Secondary school colleagues and then One day, we decided we should have have a committee and also set up a board where will be contributing money weekly or monthly depending an individual's pocket. We set up a board successfully which involved a Chairman, Vice-chairman, Secretary etc.

The first Get-together Party we set up was my Best hangout ever as we had members of the committee cooperate well by contributing funds towards the party and our first party took place on the 31st of December 2018 being the last day of the year. This is how it went. Early in the morning of that day, We had executive members and volunteers come over to make sure everyone who was being appointed duties were available and notified us that they will render the services expected from them. The female members who were to cook what was to be eaten had arrived and started cooking. My duty was being the DJ at the party, I made sure everything that will pertain to music at the party was available and being tested on time. So I had that fixed. At exactly 6pm, I began playing the music and members started showing up one after the other. We we're lucky that some top dignitaries in my State who used to patronize the owner of the bar showed up too.

The party began officially at about 8pm as we got a handful of people in attendance. Some people had started dancing away their sorrows and food was in circulation. My friends both males and females had showed up by this time and we had started having fun recalling memories of when we were together in secondary school and we also discussed business opportunities. That was how we partied until New year. Luckily for us, the Dignitaries who came to party with us also gave every attendee a special package being an envelope with equal amount of money inside. That was how we started the new year of 2019 with Joy. That was my best ADDA ever. It was actually fun and it is nice sharing the experience with you guys.
