I strongly believe God sends some people to become a cover over our lives, also as a source of blessing to us and even much more. But God also wants us to develop ourselves and take responsibility for our lives.

Humans generally like to keep trust on fellow humans. Trust has become a thing for many, to the extent that people do not take decisions for themselves any longer.
Most people tend to have this uncanny habit of leaving the outcome of their lives in the hands of other people. Some can't do anything for themselves
For example, some people cannot pray for themselves if Pastor isn't there. Pastor is human too, pastor gets tired, they have their personal challenges too.
That's why it is pertinent for spiritual shepherds over God's flock to teach the people to be able to stand for themselves.
Some depend on an uncle, an aunty a friend, a big man or highly placed woman to make it in life.

I know first hand what it means to be disappointed by putting trust in man.
*"..For thou shall make thy way prosperous..", not they shall make your way. It is a 'me' thing, a 'you' thing.
So stop leaving your life on autopilot or depending on anything for your life and start taking responsibility for your life by growing and developing on all fronts. You are your own saviour and no one else is coming.*
