Ready to accelerate into the world of frame-shaking turns and strategic upgrades? Today we’re venturing into the heart of MoonKarts’ "Karts & Parts" system—breaking down how your vehicle, its performance, and its components mesh to define your success on the track.
At its core, MoonKarts ties together four main elements: your kart chasis, tech cards (the internal parts), accessories (the external enhancements), and driver/power-up cards. The big four stats you care about are Speed, Acceleration, Handling, and Health, and every choice you make in kart or part affects one or more of those.
The Karts
There are three tiers of karts:
Primary Kart (Astro Kart): A newcomer’s balance machine—top speed ~70%, handling ~80%, health ~85%, acceleration ~75%.
Astral Karts (LunocityX & Quasar Sport): Two second-tier choices. LunocityX emphasizes speed/acceleration (80/80), while Quasar Sport leans handling/stability (80 handling) albeit slightly less top speed.
Lunar Karts (Nebula Guard & Arachno Eclipse): The premium tier. Nebula Guard boasts top speed ~90%, handling ~85%, health ~90%, acceleration ~95%. Arachno Eclipse trades a bit of speed (~85%) for top handling (~90%) and health (~95%) — built for precision and endurance.
The Tech Cards (Parts)
These are the internal upgrades: engine, tires, body kits, gearboxes—each one enhances specific stats but may carry trade-offs:
Engine Upgrades: For example, Legendary Engine increases top speed by ~25% at the cost of handling by ~5%.
Tire Upgrades:legendary variant improves handling/turn radius by ~25% but reduces top speed by ~5%.
Body Kits: Legendary Armor Plating boosts health/durability by ~25% but slightly reduces acceleration.
Gearbox Upgrades: Legendary Turbocharger significantly increases acceleration (~25%) while reducing handling a bit (~5%).

Accessories
Here’s where tiny tweaks make a difference: antennas, wheels, exhaust pipes. They add modest boosts—+1% to +4% depending on rarity. For example: common antenna gives +1% handling; legendary gives +4%. Exhausts boost top speed, wheels boost acceleration.
Why strategic tuning matters
Owning a top-tier kart is good, but the real edge comes from matching your kart’s strengths to parts and your driving style. Do you prefer pure speed — or corner mastery? Are you going all out or playing safe? The customization system supports both, but it doesn’t replace skill. The small percentage boosts from accessories still matter in close races.
