It was during her final year that Eliza finally revealed to all her friends that she had been on a long distance relationship with a guy called Jake. They were all surprised because she never made it obvious that she was in any relationship.
They had even thought she was never going to marry as she always dresses like a nun but then she announced a wedding date to them. All the same, they started the preparation for the marriage immediately after their final exams.
A month to the wedding, Eliza still had not introduced her so called soon to be husband to her family and friends. Eliza and Jake were dating through chats and calls but no video calls or visiting. Eliza wanted it that way and Jake was comfortable with it but her parents began to disturb her as they wanted to meet their son in law before the wedding day.
Jacob sent his younger brother Greg to pay Eliza's bride price on his behalf. Greg introduced himself to Eliza as Jake and Eliza was so happy to finally meet her handsome husband to be, she introduced him to her parents and they gave their blessings after all the payments were made.
Greg went back home after he was done with what his brother asked him to do but he had fallen in love with Eliza because she was so beautiful and lovable. Greg started to think of a way to tell Eliza that he wasn't Jake and he wanted to reveal his brother's wrong intentions towards her but he couldn't.
He was scared he would lose her also so he kept the truth to himself and always visited Eliza. Eliza couldn't control herself, she slept with Greg who she supposed was Jake and she got pregnant. Since it was just a few days to the wedding, Eliza didn't worry about her early pregnancy. She anticipated that day with so much joy as she would be able to spend all her life with the love of her life.
When Greg found out that Eliza was pregnant for him, he became scared but he found the courage to let his brother Jake know about it. Jake smiled and said
"She is lucky you fell for her" I don't even know how I would be able to show myself to her so I don't think I can get married to her, she is all yours".
Jacob had a severe accident that made him crippled (He felt Eliza deserved better)
Greg was so happy to hear that, he only needed to tell Eliza who he really was. The night to the wedding, Greg requested to see Eliza and he confessed to her about everything. Eliza was shocked but she forgave him and they promised not to lie to each other again.
The wedding finally came to pass and all her friends were so happy for her. Jake came in and asked her for forgiveness too, crippled but an extremely rich guy. Eliza knew then the reason he sent his brother to her instead. She forgave him and Jake gave Eliza and Greg a new mansion as their wedding gift.
Eliza is a pretty chill person to have let something like that slide. It's a nice thing Greg genuinely loves her because she deserves the best
Yeah, and it's a nice thing that Jake didn't take offense for what his brother did but forgiveness prevail in the story.
All is good that ends well. That was a dangerous game that played out there. Greg wouldn't have slept Eliza but live has no hiding place.
I knew in the middle of this post that Jake must have some kind of hidden identity issue that he felt would not make him win Eliza's heart.
Congratulations to Greg. He fell in love, and Eliza loved him.
Forgiveness is paramount in any relationship.
Let live continue since both of them are now one..
Indeed, it ended well even after the mistakes made especially by Eliza. Forgiveness is always important in moving on.

STOPHehe. This is some Shakespearean plot you've cooked up, mentor. It's brilliant. It started our as a dilemma at first but it's relieving that Greg got to have the girl at last.
Somehow though, I feel bad for Jake. His crippled state seems to have battered his self-esteem so bad.

Reading this, I only hope that real life situation could me this simple.
I wish everyone could be understanding like, Eliza and Jake.

Haha yeah yeah, happy endings are the best since it's a story after all. We hope to have that in reality.
It's not bad at all, I've seen successful relationships that once started online and guess what! It's extra fun in long distance relationship, I know that for sure.
