Always be hopeful!
Life is filled with ups and downs and it gives us many reasons to give up and lose hope.
Losing hope has no reward whatsoever at all. This is why we need to still be hopeful no matter what happens and no matter what life throws at us. There's always light at the end of the tunnel.
Being hopeful assures one that he or she can still make it by being focused, staying positive, being patient and being consistent as well.
Here's my story:
I struggled to finish my secondary school in the year 2013. Before now, all my friends had all their plans set up about furthering their education.
My parents were not really up and doing and I had four other siblings that were still in school. Eating was somehow a problem, not to even mention clothes to put on.
2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 passed no hope of going back to school. I wept, cried and talked to God each passing day. I wasn't happy at all, my mates we're almost done and were about leaving for their NYSC.
I was by that time still hopeful, within a twinkle of an eye, God made a way and I gained admission into the university till now. Soonest I will become a graduate.
If I had lose hope may be by now I would have been doing something terrible which would have led to me wasting and destroying my future.
I really don't think that anything can make me lose hope, never, I will make it.
I solely depended on God, trusting him and placing my hope in him. I knew very well that when there's hope, there will always be a way.
Keeping our hopes alive gives us strength, boldness and the courage to face whatever comes our way.
Since then, I've had my hopes alive, soonest from now I'll be a graduate. To you out there, keep your hope alive always, there will be light at the end, it may not now but definitely light will come.
