Hello Hivers 💖 I will be sharing with you this morning how I made this lovely dress.

I decided to put a couple of pleat by one side and a chest pocket at the other side adding some flowery material and it came out very nice.

Below are the processes

MATERIALS USED

  • fabric (cashmere and flowery shirt material)
  • hair stay
  • paper stay
  • collar stay
  • pressing button
  • thread

CUTTING PROCESS

To get where exactly to start the pleat, you divide the shoulder by 3 which will give you the point at which you start your plead from so it won't fall under or very close to armpit.

The number of pleats determine the allowances to be added and on the other hand, the side you want the pleat to be is where the allowances will added.

After the pleat has been made and ironed then you can now continue your cutting
