The first scene of this movie was when a well-known politician named Bruno Diaz was shot while making a public speech. Well, when I saw that scene at first it was an assassination and I saw a girl in possession of the sniper gun. But the least expected what I saw in the next scene, and that was when a guy named Brandon Beckett was arrested by the SWAT agents while playing a video game in his basement.
Brandon was handed over to Franklin, a CIA agent, for questioning. Brandon was asked some questions which he answered pretty well and tried to tell Franklin that he was set up, but Franklin wasn’t ready to hear his point.
Another agent of the homeland security named Zero begged to have a little time with Brandon. He told Brandon that he would get to the root of the case.
They arranged Brandon with two other SWAT guys to take him to the next place for more questioning and investigation. They were attacked on their way by Russian mobs and they were shot by an unknown person. Luckily, Brandon escaped but agent Franklin concluded that Brandon was responsible for the situation of killing the cops and asked the other agent to focus their attention on Brandon.
However zero tried abstract thinking and investigation and he traced the whole thing to a pharmaceutical industry known as Phykus industries with the help of a data analyst named Clover.
The whole ball game was focused on the quest for money and Brandon was set up by his old-time friend or I will say enemy named Drake Phoenix in the movie. Drake killed someone and Brandon who was an eyewitness tried to bring justice. He thought Drake died during a clash, but he was wrong. Maybe the young thug reincarnated or something and sought revenge. Drake was shot by Brandon’s father, a retired officer, and Zero was rescued because he was fished out and held hostage during his investigation process.
Agent Franklin did not portray a good and sensible character as a data analyst because all he did was just to go by the surface of what he saw or what he heard but mere homeland security was intelligent enough to get to the root of the issue. Although he was stuck in the process, luckily the assassin helped him and the corps showed up.
A true detective has to touch all areas and not focus on one part only, and that was the silly mistake that our beloved agent Franklin made.
Looking at the real sense other politicians would have been a suspect in this case, but the reverse was the case. Politics and crime sound good though, but pharmacy and crime nayyyyy. And this is the situation that we are facing today whereby pharmaceutical CEO are risking lives all because of money. Killing people with the cure to different trending diseases instead of saving lives as it is supposed to be.
I wish you guys would try this movie out. It is another nice one to watch.
