সিনেমা শুধু মনের খোরাকই নয়, সিনেমায় আমরা আমাদের জীবনের প্রতিফলন দেখতে পাই। খুঁজে পাই নিজেদের জীবনের হারিয়ে যাওয়া আবেগগুলো। যখন হারিয়ে যাওয়া আবেগ, হারিয়ে যাওয়া ঘটনাগুলো চোখের সামনে পর্দায় ভেসে ওঠে তখন কিছুক্ষণের জন্য বাস্তবতা থেকে হারিয়ে গিয়ে কল্পনায় মন ডানা মেলে। খুঁজে পেতে চায় সেই হারানো সুখগুলো আর ভুলে যেতে চায় কস্টগুলো ।
শুধু জীবনের প্রতিফলনই নয় সিনেমাতে আমরা সমাজের বিভিন্ন দিকেরও প্রতিফলন দেখতে পাই যা হঠাৎ আমাদের বিবেককে নাড়া দিয়ে যায়, মনে দাগ কেটে দিয়ে বলে আর কতদিন লাগবে বদলাতে? আর কত অন্যায় অবিচারের পর পরিবর্তন আসবে?
তো আজ এমনই একটা সিনেমার সাথে আপনাদের পরিচয় করিয়ে দেব। যেটা আপনাদেরকে অন্যরকম একটা ভালবাসার স্বাদ দেবে। খুঁজে পাবেন আমাদের নিত্য দিনের জীবনের সাথে সংযোগ আর ঘাত প্রতিঘাত। সিনেমাটি আপনাকে অন্যরকম একটা ভাল লাগা দেবে।

জয়নাব, পাকিস্তানের আদালতে দোষী সাব্যস্ত হয়ে ফাঁসির আদেশপ্রাপ্ত হয়। মৃত্যুর আগে তার শেষ ইচ্ছা ছিল যে, সে তার জীবনের গল্প মিডিয়ার কাছে বলবে। তার শেষ ইচ্ছা অনুযায়ী তার ফাঁসি হবার দিন মিডিয়ার সামনে তাকে হাজির করা হয়। জয়নাবের বর্ণনায় উঠে আসে এক অন্ধকার সমাজের চিত্র।
জয়নাবের বাবা হাসমুতুল্লাহ প্রচন্ড ধর্মপ্রান গোঁড়া মুসলমান । পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজ থেকে শুরু করে কোরান তেলওয়াত সব ইসলামিক নিয়ম সে মেনে চলে এবং সে পুরুষতান্ত্রিক সমাজের এক নিষ্ঠুর প্রতিচ্ছবি। কারণ তার কথার অন্যথা হলেই সে স্ত্রী বা কন্যাদের গায়ে হাত তুলতে ছাড়তো না। ছেলের আশায় আশায় সে এক এক করে ৭ কন্যার জন্ম দেয় কিন্তু পরিবারে আয়ের মানুষ সে একা। এতে সংসারে অভাব লেগেই থাকে। এর মধ্যে সে ছেলে সন্তানের আশায় আবার সন্তান নেয়। কিন্তু এবার তার ভাগ্যে অন্য কিছুই লেখা ছিল। এবার তাদের ঘরে জন্ম নেয় ৩য় লিঙ্গের একজন । এ খবর জানতে পেরে এলাকার ৩য় লিঙ্গের একজন এসে শিশুটিকে নিয়ে যেতে চায়, কিন্তু হাসমুতুল্লাহ দিতে অসম্মতি জানায়। অসম্মতি জানালেও হাসমুতুল্লাহ কখনই শিশুটিকে মেনে নিতে পারে না এমনকি এজন্য সে শিশুটির কোন নামও দেয় না। এবং সে একবার তার স্ত্রীকে এ প্রস্তাবও করে যে, সে শিশুটিকে মেরে ফেলতে চায়। এতে তার স্ত্রী এবং কন্যারা অসম্মতি জানায় এবং সবসময় শিশুটিকে লুকিয়ে রাখে। তারা শিশুটির নাম রাখে সাইফুল্লাহ । এর মধ্যে জয়নাবের শ্বশুর বাড়ি থেকে জয়নাবকে তাড়িয়ে দিলে জয়নাব আবার বাবার বাড়িতে ফিরে আসে। ততদিনে তাদের সংসারে অভাব বেশ ভালভাবেই জেঁকে বসেছে।
এরপর সাইফুল্লাহ বড় হয়ে কাজের সন্ধানে বের হলে কর্মস্থলে সে যৌন হয়রানির শিকার হয় এবং এরপর বাসায় এ কথা বলার পর সে প্রচন্ড আক্ষেপ থেকে বলে যে তারও হয়ত রাস্তায় রাস্তায় হিজড়াদের মত করে নেচে গেয়ে বেড়ানো উচিত। এ কথা শুনে হাসমুতুল্লাহ নিজেকে আর নিয়ন্ত্রনে রাখতে পারে না। রাতেই সে নির্মমভাবে শ্বাসরোধ করে সাইফুল্লাহকে হত্যা করে। এবং পুলিশ তার কাছ থেকে ২ লাখ টাকা চায় এই খুনের ঘটনাকে ধামাচাপা দেয়ার জন্য। এজন্য সে এক বাঈজীকে বিয়ে করতে বাধ্য হয় । এভাবেই সিনেমাটি বিভিন্ন ঘাত প্রতিঘাতের মধ্যে দিয়ে সামনে এগিয়ে যেতে থাকে। শেষ পর্যন্ত জয়নাবের ফাঁসি কার্যকর হয় । কিন্তু কি কারনে জয়নাবের ফাঁসি হয় তা জানতে হলে সিনেমাটি দেখে ফেলুন, শুধু এটুকু বলা যায় যে সিনেমাটি একবার শুরু করলে না শেষ করে ওঠা মুশকিল হবে কারণ আগে থেকে কোন ধারনা করা মুশকিল হবে যে এরপর কি ঘটতে যাচ্ছে! আর সিনেমায় চমক হিসেবে থাকছে আতিফ আসলাম।
আতিফ আসলামের ভক্তদের জন্য এটা একটা অবশ্যই উপভোগ করার মত সিনেমা ।
এই সিনেমাটিতে লেখক সমাজের কিছু রূঢ় বাস্তবতাকে খুব নিপুনভাবে তুলে ধরেছে । পুরুষতান্ত্রিক সমাজব্যবস্থা এবং ধর্মীয় গোঁড়ামি কিভাবে একটি পরিবারকে ধীরে ধীরে নিঃশেষ করে দেয় সেই গল্পই তুলে ধরা হয়েছে এখানে।
তো আজ এ পর্যন্তই । পরে আবার অন্য কোন মন ছুঁয়ে যাওয়া মুভির বিস্তারিত নিয়ে হাজির হব ।
