Before hive was widely known about 5months ago, the hive planet was occupied by people hoping for miracle to happen, for it to get listed on binance and co. People are just hoping that it might yield to something big just like steemit then, they keep on striving and accumulating hive, HBD as well as hive power. Have you ever imagined working where you are not rewarded for the work you do yet, you still dedicate yourself to doing it? To many people then, people posting on hive are mere time wasters and jobless but they see what most people can't see. I'm sure the journey would be tough for them then but they keep on trying.
Lo and behold! Hive got listed and its price rose to $0.9 per hive. It is time for those that invested their time and energy to reap the fruit of their labour. People started trading the ones they have in their wallet as the market moons. More investors come in and it became something almost everyone want to do. Good content creators come to join the planet hive and are doing well also. The best part of it is that, hive accommodates all types of people with diverse talent/skill. A photographer, an architect, an artist, a chef, rider, scientist, artiste, etc are all welcomed to hive. Some even choose hive to showcase their work.
As time goes on, hive begin to depreciate in price as people continue to dump it everyday until it has a its price around $0.3 then. Its still cool by people. As at today, the above image shows the price of hive which has become unhealthy. You heard me right, price of hive is now unhealthy. The price has now dropped to $0.156 today which its not what is expected of it by most people though we're still hoping for something good. Despite the unhealthy and unsteady price of hive currently, there is still hope for it to rise again. I personally believe that it will become more encouraging soon, its just a matter of time.
