This was no ordinary genie, you may think that; but which genie has ever been anything but extraordinary? But yes this was a striking contrast from any other genies, I’ll tell you why. His accessories seem very much like others and more expensive, but not exclusive. Jewel stitched turban placed gloriously on his head, his jacket was embroidered with silver and gold threads, valuable gems adorning each and every finger, the way he held himself he looked nothing less than the richest merchant of the universe. He looks like a human being but his appearance changes as his mood shifts. When he’s happy, he starts to glow and fiery red is the color he transforms into when his rage is uncontrollable and his body structure gets buffed up and in envy, his skin converts to emerald and he starts to shrink down to one-tenth of his size; truly unlike any other genie.

Genie was leisurely thinking what a great life it is. His house inside the bottle is beautifully decorated, in a combination of neon sky blue and black; his giant size futon was as soft as marshmallows. The walls and furniture have aetherium and they glow in the dark like thousands of blue fireflies. The floor is engraved by priceless stones. The light of lanterns reflected on the beautifully crafted glassware and when he goes to sleep, its laser light show in cloud nine. Everywhere he looked it screamed nothing but AAA-grade luxury with no hint of scarcity in any corner. Everything he could possibly want is just a snap of a finger away. He would wake up with all his opulence greeting anx cheering on for him; he'd play with his precious items day in and day out and none of them would be lost or spent as he can use his magic to acquire things for him. And within the walls inside the bottle, he was his own master with no one to boss him around, not a soul to order him; his very own king-size life where he’s the emperor.
If you asked Genie, what is a happy life, he’d say a life that is loaded with all the riches of the world is what a happy life looks. This is how it should be, life, for him; yes, this is the life he deserves, a world of riches that should have been for him all along. He a flick of fingers food appears, with a clap the walls become transparent and he can enjoy the view outside. Some days a bird may pick up the bottle and drop it somewhere else, but that’s the only way he travels. But that never bothered him, as long as he’s around his riches he wanted nothing else. He has the universe within his grasp, he might as well be the ruler of all seven seas; but no. He just wanted to be left alone with his riches and wanted nothing else to do with the world. His wealth were his soul and he was blinded by their glitter; he only appreciated those that shines and disregarded everything else.
See? What a life that he managed for himself! And the deal was only beneficial for him. Oh yes, my dear, a deal he made. A deal where he asked to be the richest and the most powerful, in return he will spend an eternity as a genie in the bottle; without hesitating for a moment, he took the deal. In his early life, Genie was a peddler living on the streets with no dime in his name. He used to beg when he was a boy and could only eat half of a meal a day. When he grew up, he swindled people who could be an easy target and take their hard earned money. You do remember the animated genie from Aladdin? No, this Genie was neither as friendly and compassionate as the Aladdin’s genie nor he was benevolent; his heart wasn’t filled with malice either. Grienie; grinch genie, that’s appropriate. But like other genies, who chose this life as a second chance to do better, he wanted to escape from his past to start a new life; this was the life he chose. This was his golden ticket of a life do-over, only this time he’s going to live forever. The perks of being a genie were at his disposal.
An eternity among treasures incalculable.
