Hi guys! How are you all? I hope you’re doing well. Like every day, today I’m back again with another yummy recipe. And I’m sure everyone—kids and adults—will love this recipe a lot. Today, I’ll share with you the full process of making a cake. If you follow my process, you’ll also be able to make a perfect cake at home. So… let’s go!

Ingredients 🎂🍰:

For the cake base:
1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¾ cup sugar (powdered)
3 eggs (or ½ cup yogurt as a substitute)
½ cup butter or oil
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
For the cream frosting:
1 cup whipping cream (chilled)
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla essence
For decoration (optional):
Chocolate chips or grated chocolate
Fresh fruits (like strawberries, cherries, or kiwis)
Sprinkles or edible decorations.
Here, I tried to keep the cake simple. I just added a white and lavender shade. I also added some edible pearls that can be eaten. Because of the candle, the cake looks even more beautiful. It’s better to use light colors for cakes. If you use dark colors too much, the cake might become bitter and it’s not healthy either.
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the batter:-
Take a bowl and add butter (or oil) and sugar.
Beat them well until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs one by one (or yogurt if you’re not using eggs) and mix well.
Now add vanilla essence.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
Pour in milk slowly and mix until you get a smooth batter.
Step 2: Bake the cake:-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease a cake pan with butter or oil and dust it lightly with flour.
Pour the batter into the pan and level the top.
Bake for about 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before adding cream.
Step 3: Make the whipped cream:-
Take chilled whipping cream in a bowl.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla essence.
Beat with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form (the cream should hold shape).
Step 4: Frost and decorate:-
Cut the cooled cake into two layers (optional).
Spread cream on the first layer, place the second layer on top, and cover the whole cake with cream.
Smooth the surface with a spatula.
Decorate with edible pearls, fruits, chocolate shavings, or candles.
Step 5: Chill and serve:-
Keep the cake in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours to set the cream.
Slice and enjoy your soft, creamy, and delicious cake! 🎂
