Hi guys. How are you all? I hope everyone’s doing great. Since morning, the sky’s been having a lot of mood swings — sometimes it’s raining, and sometimes the sun’s blazing bright. In this kind of weather, how can there not be something special cooked? So today, Mom made delicious beef curry, and there was also fried rupchanda fish.

I think almost everyone knows how to fry rupchanda fish. So today, I’ll share my beef curry recipe with you all.
Ingredients:(Beef curry )
1.Beef – 1 kg (cut into medium pieces)
2.Onion – 3 to 4 large (finely sliced)
3.Garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
4.Ginger paste – 1 tablespoon
5.Green chilies – 4 to 5 (slit or chopped)
6.Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
7.Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
8.Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
9.Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
10.Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon
11.Bay leaves – 2
12.Cinnamon sticks – 2 small pieces
13.Cardamom – 3 to 4
14.Cloves – 3 to 4
15.Salt – to taste
16.Mustard oil or cooking oil – ½ cup
17.Water – as needed
18.Fried onion (optional, for garnish)
19.Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Cooking Method
Heat oil:
In a large pan or wok, heat the mustard oil (or any cooking oil).
Add whole spices:
Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Fry for a few seconds until fragrant.
Add onions:
Add sliced onions and fry until they turn golden brown. This adds sweetness and color to the curry.
Add ginger & garlic paste:
Add the ginger and garlic paste. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
Add dry spices:
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and fry for 2–3 minutes with a little water so the spices don’t burn.
Add beef:
Add the beef pieces. Stir well so the meat is coated with the spice mixture.
Fry (bhuna):
Keep frying the beef on medium heat for 10–15 minutes until it changes color and releases some oil.
Add water:
Pour enough water to cover the meat. Mix well and cover the pot.
Cook until tender:
Let it cook on low to medium heat for 1–1.5 hours (or pressure cook for 25–30 minutes) until the beef becomes soft and the gravy thickens.
Add garam masala & finish:
When the beef is tender, add garam masala powder and green chilies. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Garnish & serve:
Garnish with fried onions or fresh coriander leaves.
Our beef curry is ready to eat .
I hope you all liked it. That’s all for today. Allah Hafiz.
