The World Is Changing Really Fast And It Scares Me

My dad said something to me this morning, after listening to his words, it was disheartening and true since no one can help the fact or miraculously change the appalling prejudice of the police force in the world over night. My dad said; "In a system involving the police, there can never be justice" — what he meant was that the majority of just Police officers behind the uniform are few, therefore the wicked ones lucky to be appointed corrupt the system.

We were watching a news on national TV on a cable channel this morning in the living room where a black skin reporter with two members of his team was arrested while covering a fire outbreak of the third police precinct and few grocery stores in the neighborhood instigated by angry mass protesters in Minneapolis due to the fatal arrest that led to the death of George Floyd.

This is the first time I have witnessed such a thing happen in the history of live news coverage in the open field. Why should law enforcers arrest someone carrying out his duty in a law abiding manner without a proper reason? The team of reporters were standing in a restricted premise with prior consent from few officers to stay there. So it made no sense why they got arrested after being permitted to record live the terrible things that were happening as firefighters were busy extinguishing the razing burning fire of the third police precinct and new troops of police officers arriving at the scene to chase off the violent protesters.

To make things worse, the reporter was a brown skin man. He was immediately handcuffed and arrested coupled with his team of cameramen ( whites) who had their gadget left on the ground. Those from the studio connected live to the news report were baffled at the sudden arrest, they couldn't comprehend why it happened since they were doing their jobs and not breaking the law.

To recap what caused all this fiasco and unrest. A 46 years old man named George Floyd was brutally arrested by four police officers a few days ago and died in the process. I watched the video of his arrest and had to agree it was indeed brutal and animalistic as most social media handles say it was. It was four officers to one man. It's even hard for me to add the video clip that captured his arrest which led to his death.

All I can say was that he was unarmed, he yielded, he never resisted arrest. He begged for mercy. He was blood choking, couldn't breathe but still those officers enjoyed it and gave deaf ears to his pleas and even to all bystanders and witnesses pleading they stop and just take him away in a lawful manner but yet a man lost his life leaving behind a wife and children for complying with the authority. Knowing fully well that resting your kneel on the jugular vein in the neck can lead to death. So sad.

If this is not madness then I don't know what to call it. Black people globally seem to be hunted and racially abused by wicked humans. This is not a trend that started yesterday. It's been going on for a long time and from the angry reaction of the populace concerned or affected, enough is enough. The death of George Floyd has created a precedent that can't be ignored any longer. It even got the attention of President Donald Trump who commented on the issue.

In all honesty, I hope the officers involved in George Floyd death get charged with murder and I hope the whole world gets healed in this time of uncertainty and constant chaos from artificial and natural disasters. Just before rounding up this post, my dad told me that the reporters who were arrested by the cops were released as the legal team of CNN reported the incident to the senator of the state, who then reported it to the governor of the state who then initially placed a call to order their immediate release. At least that's some good news amidst the chaos.

It seems like some officers kinks get satisfied through such cases of brutality but i never understood why or what motivates them to be so evil. Ive seen a video where a colored exchange student was picking up trash with a some sort of weird looking leaf picker. So the police officer in a passing by patrol car looks at him and immediately he deems that the student is posing danger because he has a beard, brown skin color and a funky device in his hands.. Within minutes the situation gets so out of control that the student now was holding back his position with an agressive body language as he did nothing wrong and 5-10 officers were just waiting hand in holsters to either apprehend or shoot him and the whole thing was like a western standoff. Just cause he wasn't complying to their demands. But the student was saved cause he had a body cam and later campus authorities came and vouched for him.

Just cruel and pathetic.

Just imagine. I don't know if skin variation from the tone of white is a curse. This is wickedness and cruelty. Foul suspicion just to intimidate and harass a student. This disgusts me.

Thats exactly what the world has come to now. Its like the old time when slavery still existed. Like the guys supposed to protect us, whose electricity bill we pay is now killing us.

RIP George Floyd.

It breaks my heart that the world has evolved into this.
May his soul rest in peace.

My heart has been hurting all week for the family of Mr.Floyd. It's amazing how much of America is protesting today and I hope we see positive change from this. Minneapolis is under curfew tonight but people are still out protesting. Unicorn Riot on Facebook has been shooting videos of the protests all week and people are still currently protesting there.

I hope the protest ends and justice prevails. We have had enough bloodshed and disaster. We need the restoration of peace, healing and harmony.

Thanks for stopping by.

It's amazing to see how fast the world can change, isn't it? We often don't notice it the way we should.

Nothing is constant.. Change is inevitable. We just need to make the best out of it.
