At times, I do forget the element this particular card belongs to and it really took me a while to really see how useful the card is, I thought it was just a normal cards and somehow misunderstand the ability attached to it. Well this is the first card we get to buy with pure voucher even though it is a common dual element cards, buy every piece with 30 voucher is somehow too high because that will be 30 x 400, so I just got a piece just to see how the shield ward ability look like, as a lvl 1 card, I still manage to put it in my battle but then I was thinking the shield ward will give the card in front of warden divine shield (silly me), so every time I use it and didn't see see this divine shield, I will just be like what is this until a friend of mine made it know that the card give shield instead, shield is one ability that stand against melee and range cards because it reduce the damage received from them which is actually good, especially if placed well so I had to figure the best way to use this card.
i had to think of the best ruleset and time to use this particular cards, then I come across the lost magic ruleset which take away magic cards completely, I do call it the battle of melee and range cards, using mana warden will be bring in some good change, so I had the battle with enton which came with 42 mana capped and 2 ruleset which was Five alive which allow only 5 unit card in the battle and also lost magic which is my main target, we get to pick between earth and life element so I went all in with life, because I don't think I have strong melee cards in earth element.

First of all I got Grandmaster Rathe because the void armour is very important in this kind of battle and using repair ability will also be a good option but I didn't really use it in this card, I picked up Drybone Barbarian with the enrage and retaliate ability and pair it with Mana Warden to give it that shield and make it stronger since this is a no magic case, Warden was just lvl 1 so there wasn't anything special because other abilities weren't present, I picked Pelacor Arbalest as my good range choice mainly because of the double strike, I had Venka the vile with me at that time with charge and piercing ability so I picked it because it is a good option and I placed Legionnaire alvar as my backline just incased there will be any sneaky attacks, Venka must not be that vulnerable. It was kind of fun watching how drybone withstand the attacks especially when the enrage got activated which made it berserk and deadly because it kept on fighting back with the retaliate while sucking in the damage till it took it last breath and before that, at least my opponent was around 40-50% gone which game me higher chance because most of my cards were still standing strong especially with a strong backline, he didn't stand the chance against me after that and I won the battle fairly. Have you been using Mana Warden in your battle and how good is it?
