The Fun Of Super Sneak In Up Close & Personal

There are times I do enjoyed myself on splinterlands especially during some kind of battles especially when the rule sets really work hand in hand, I recently joined a new guild and I have been enjoying it so far especially during this recently brawl battle where I top the guild with 6 wins and 2 loss unlike my first battle where I did woefully but seriously joining a new guild is really one the best move I did of recently. It is time for the weekly battle challenge and this week theme is the Sneaky move in super sneak rule set where all melee cards gain the sneak ability which means they can attack the last unit of the opponent card instead of attacking the first position and you can place the melee with sneak ability in any position unless the card have reach ability or is in the first position.

This rule set is one of the rule set that I really like and it is easy to flex the melee cards in my collection but this time around the rule set given really work hand in hand, like having super sneak combo with up close and personal which only allow melee monster cards, so in this battle i had with affliction, it was a 57 mana capped match and we can make use of any element except fire and water, we also have the Taking the sides rule set which prevent us from using neutral monster cards, Up close & personal which allow only melee monster cards and lastly is the super sneak rule set that give all melee ability the sneak ability.

More reason why I said this particular battle really work hand in hand and with the huge mana capped, I can pick up my top mana melee cards, there are things I decided to consider before selecting what to use in this battle, since it is melee cards, I need the shield ability to reduce the attack received from my enemy and also the demoralize ability to reduce their melee attack, check this out, the death ability really fit the strategy I decided to use so I picked Zintar Mortalis as my summoner which take -1 attack from opponent melee cards, I picked Harklaw as my frontline which have both shield and demoralize ability, Cursed Windeku with the thorn and healing ability, Undead Rexx with the trample ability, but this card have strong melee attack with huge health, Haunted Spirit with healing ability, Pelacor Deceiver with the flying ability that give this card some chance to evade attack from melee and range cards and also backfire to deal 2 damage back to the attacker that miss their attack and lastly is the Night Ghoul which I had to use because of the taunt ability just to take the first few attacks.

I was really satisfied with this strategy and I had to submit the formation, watching how it play out gave me some kind of joy because the double demoralizer reduce all my monster cards back to 1 attack which render them powerless and give me huge advantage over him, he only bring in just one demoralizer so it only have little effect on me, before he could destroy my night ghoul, I already destroy two of his 3 of his cards leaving the whole battle to 5 against 3, and within 7 round I won the battle with 5 of my cards still standing strong. What do you see to this strategy? Do you align your formation this way?
