Trust me this is very annoying and frustrating.
I have been having this issue for about 6 hours now. I know it happens at times but not as today's own.
Yes, if you are in my country, you can tell how frustrating network connection can be at times especially depending on a particular network one uses.
I have been a fan of Airtel line for as long as I can remember. It's my major line and all my business and transactions are done using that network but most times, the network can be super frustrating, for days it will just suddenly seize and not connecting nor loading a single thing.
I came back home today around 3 PM with the mindset of drafting an article and then posting before taking my siesta but only for me to experience this network issue that I had to put it off and rest hoping that by the time I wake up, the issue would have been settled but sadly I woke up to the same issues.
I didn't know where to start or what to do. I couldn't tell where the issue was coming from since I could still access other things using the line like making and receiving calls.
So why was the issue just with the data connection? It wasn't loading any website nor any social media.
I tried everything but to no avail. I even tried checking my data balance and here is the message I got below.
I tried checking my normal account balance and it went through successfully, so why was data balance an issue? I concluded that maybe it's coming from my phone or settings since I could still perform other stuff using the same line, so in a quest to find out where the fault was coming from, I checked all my settings and did everything on my own strength and power. I even restarted my phone but I kept receiving the same problem, trust me at this point I was raged and frustrated at the same time. I had a lot of things to do on the net which I couldn't do because my data connection was misbehaving. I wasted so many hours waiting for the issue to be resolved.
This made me wish I had an alternative like maybe another line I could switch to for the meantime, Oh well, I had one line but I don't like subscribing to it, and because of this, I had to deal with my frustration and annoyance.
For those hours I kept myself busy with other things but it didn't change the fact that I was devastated and I couldn't help it.
I am fed up with this flawed line. And I can't believe that this line which happened to be one of the best lines then is now messing up. I have had enough of it and because of this, I might be getting a new one soon regardless if this one is my most used line. I can't continue putting up with this. I hate it when little things like this frustrate my life, it's pretty annoying, trust me.
All the same, I hope this wouldn't ruin my night because as it stands, the girl is still very upset for not being able to achieve everything she had planned to achieve since 6 hours ago. You know how annoying that can be, wasting one's time.
But all the same, I can only hope and pray it gets better. And while waiting for my annoying data network to be fixed, I opted in for another line to be able to make this rant of a post😒

Oh ..and you know that there are all kinds of issues with Facebook, WhatsApp Instagram and messenger being down....I think worldwide?
Now telegram is even acting strange... probably because so many people are using it to overload.the circuits!
So....I wonder how much this will all overlap to other apps and networks!!!
Really? I guess that's why none of my social media is loading or opening, I was thinking it's from the same data connection issue.
Could it be they are fixing something or?
And is it just happening this night?
No .I guess on Sunday one of the employees of Facebook brought something to light in a news report where she became a whistleblower on some of their practices that she believed deceived investors.
Then ..the very next day, all the apps are down. Lol and they say "we are aware that some of our customers are not able to access our apps. We are working on fixing the problem right away"
From what I've seen...it's not just "some of their customers" that aren't able to access....it's worldwide.
But...I guess we wait and see what they tell us to believe next 😏
At first I thought my phone was acting up. Honestly, I almost smashed my phone out of anger. Nothing frustrates me like network issues. Plus I had something really important to do on WhatsApp.
After hours of frustration, I got to realize that it is a worldwide issue. Whatever games they are playing should just end.
That's why decentralized social media remains the best tho
Yeah hahaha...now we see where the monopoly of Facebook shows some of its flaws...when one goes down, they all go down. Lol
Even my daughter today was out and trying to contact me...she uses all the normal methods and then eventually called! Hahahaha
She thought it was her network...I told her no....just the Facebook Monopoly affecting the world 😂
Honestly is crazy how this few hours of being down has affected the whole world.
I can imagine, recently calls are used as last resort lol. Most people -including me😁- prefer to use social media to communicate.
Yep it's easy and quick!

And it really does show how dependent we are on social media. What would we do if everything went down! Lol

Guess we only had 12 hours of annoyance hahahhaa
Unfortunately I wasn't patient lol. I actually deleted my WhatsApp and downloaded a new one, that made no difference. I had to reset my phone lol. Now I'm regretting, I would have been patient 🤦🏾♀
Oh boy @doziekash hahaha. I know I was frustrated and annoyed, I had to restart my phone but deleting and reinstalling my WhatsApp? That's going too far😂😂 sorry though
