This is the first time I've won any contest on Hive. The aforementioned contest is about shadow hunting. Yes, shadows,π which I personally find is a cool idea and theme - Entry for the Shadow Contest. Aside from shadow hunting, there is also reflection hunting - Entry for the Reflection Huntingπ€©. There were many good and interesting photos posted for this contest. Therefore, I am honoured and elated that my post made it through the selection process and became a part of the winners' list. ππππ Hence, I feeeeel goood~~~~~!!

This small little "win" or acknowledgement, means a lot to me as someone that is relatively new on Hive; it can be daunting and demotivating many times when it feels like an effort goes unnoticed or just being stuck in the same situation for some time, due to low resource credit, post value, reputation, Hive power, etc. At some point, I questioned myself and my ability to communicate clearly, language proficiency, ability to write, quality of my photos, etc. This can turn into a somewhat depressing thought. Hence, for me, it is not just a win with additional points and rewards.
It is Hope and Motivation!πππ½πͺπ½ to continue to strive towards continuous learning, self-improvement and growth on Hive. Hence, Keep Hiving and don't give up!(mental note to myself). πͺπ½π

hey dear @evachin π it makes me happy to see you so happy about you winning the contest. I truely believe it will not be your last win on a contest! But as you say, its not about winning some hive or points. Its about becoming a part and a seen member of this community. For sure it will take some time. you know me to, I'm not so long here. But I already see, some people like you for example coming up from the mass of users, becoming real virtual friends with the same interestst :-)

Of course you keep it up π even when there is less time and less postings, staying here for sure is a good decision.
I saw, you always make a 100% upvote on the comments. So this is not recommended, when you still are a small account. because doing this you always run out of hive power.
best way, I have been told: only vote on postings, not on comments in the beginning. and never go much less than 80% with your voting power. minimum 70% becaus it will take too much time to regenarete power.
