The Final Hunt is on! Don't miss out on this!!
Hello Alphabet Hunters. This week we hunt for words ending in X Y Z, with these 3 letters combined to ease the level of the difficulty of the Challenge. Nevertheless, it still is a daunting task and I am quite excited to see what your catches for this final week will be. Special thanks to @barbara-orenya for this wonderful initiative. So get your thinking caps on and go for it if you haven't participated yet!
So here it is. My final hunt trophies.
The first word is an "X" for Xing
Dictionary.com defines Xing as a crossing used especially on road signs like "Deer Xing" or "Pedestrian or People Xing". These photos were taken pre-Covid19 in one of my walks downtown.
In our city, pedestrian crossings or lanes are observed strictly. Traffic enforcers do not hesitate to fine those jaywalking and those drivers who block the xing.
The second word is another "X" for XPander
I was following this vehicle on my way to a client when I noticed the model. It's a Mitsubishi XPander, a mini van type that seats 7 passengers. I said, "Perfect for the last hunt!"

The third word is a "Y" for Yellow Fin Tuna
This is the tuna variety of choice for the Japanese dish Sashimi. It's a dish of bite-sized pieces of raw fish eaten with soy sauce and wasabi paste. In our city, the tail, belly and jaws are the next sought after parts of this tuna as they are just super delicious when grilled. These Yellow Fin Tuna can grow up to 60 to 80 kilograms in weight. They are so called because of the small yellow fins protruding along they're spines.
The fourth word is another "Y" for Yellow Flowers
Photo above is a Yellow Bell from our garden.
This is our neighbor's sunflower. He only has one plant but boy, is it a prolific one blooming incessantly and numerously. He actually gave me some seeds from the dried flowers so I can grow my own when he saw me taking pictures of the plant.
This flower grows in our garden but I do not know what it's called. The flowers are so small that a bunch would fit in the palm of my hand. Do tell, if anyone knows what this is called.
The fifth word is a "Z" for Zebra Cactus
These are Haworthia Fasciata or Zebra Cactus. They're small succulent houseplants that look fantastic in stylish containers. Very easy to care for and needing only reasonable light and a watering every once in a week.
The sixth word is another "Z" for Zeus The Blind Owl
Photo above shows a finished painting of this famous blind owl (he has an FB page you can follow) by my daughter which was bought by a relative and now hangs auspiciously in her office.
The next photos show my daughter working on the portrait. She used colored pencils for this one.

When I saw your Zebra cactus, I just realized I had written Zebre in my post instead of Zebra 😁 ...this is the french word..

Hi @silversaver888. I just saw this reply of yours and I realized it's been almost 4 months since my last activity in Hive. Where did I go? I actually went to work he he. I've been very busy lately working really hard as my business suffered a considerable downturn since the pandemic. But, thank God, it's slowly beginning to show a strong turnaround and I just have to spend a little more time at it for the moment. But I think I can now do at least an hour a day on Hive so I look forward to being active again, on a limited basis.
Meanwhile, how are you? I do hope you are getting better and I would really like to see you come visit our country again and eat durian lol. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Well, we had Christmas and the New Year, and now is February, and we are still in partial lockdown!

Thank you for your comment. I had wanted to use Xylophone and use a photo of a xylophone toy of my grandson but I found out it got broken and his mom disposed of it. But luckily I had pictures of pedestrian crossings which I substituted for it.
The Yellow fin tuna is very popular in Japan and also here in my country. I wanted to use the photo under the letter "T" hunt for tuna but thought I could save it for the "Y" hunt instead which is more difficult.
And that's it for the Challenge. I've met a lot of great people here and my only regret is that I wasn't able to start it earlier on. But all's well that ends well. May we find other challenges in the future and hopefully we meet again.

Nice to know someone from outside the Philippines who knows and loves Yellow Fin Tuna. They are really tasty especially the grilled jaws, which is something like a to "die for" type of food.

Thank you for your kind words @gem.and.cookies it has been very educational for me learning more about fruits and veggies as i love them so much apart from the yellow fin tuna which is expensive over here but we treat it as a delicacy.

I have eaten Tuna steak a few times and it was something very delicious. A fresh fish would be a lot better I believe, so I will definitely tell you when I'm around 😊

Yes, I was lucky to have seen that Xpander, of all things, and during the XYZ hunt of all times. Heaven sent.
Xing was a hunch that I followed through because of all those pedestrian pics I had. Luckily, there actually is a word.
Flowers say it all. But yellow flowers say it the brightest and sunniest of all.
