My wife bought 2 of these a few months ago. Can you guess what this is for?
It's a long object but there are shorter ones available, depending on what you need them for.
It's something one uses for the garden, more specifically for crawling plants or vines. It is made out of abaca rope fiber wound around a long slim object, like in this case, a half inch PVC pipe. It is secured by intertwining the coir with a thin wire. The other end is wrapped in some sort of a plastic net to hold the coir in place.
Have you figured the it out by now? It's actually an object with which the crawling plants or vines can attach itself while growing. Here's a photo I took of some Hoyas happily creeping up on these what is commonly known as coir sticks.

Coir sticks are new to me and I have plenty of use for them with my outdoor plants as well as a few indoor ones.🌾
