Phone Photography Contest - 50: Capturing The Moment

I am very excited to finally be a part of Feel Good community, I am a lover of photography but I haven't reached the level of using a camera( Hand camera), I am currently making use of my mobile phone to capture moments and nature.

This contest has given phone users the space to share the photographs they captured with their mobile phones.

The year runs so fast, here is a picture of my mom I took on December 2023, this was her birthday and we decided to take her out. My mobile phone has a very good camera after I made some settings, the rear camera is just 50MP but can capture a very clear and focused image.

Using portrait mode I was able to take this shot of her, this mode automatically silenced the background by giving it a mild blur. Using my Lightroom mobile app I enhanced the color a bit to my satisfaction.

She is really a photogenic person, she knows poses, which I was ready to take the shot. Many people were confused on the kind of phone or camera that took this photo because it looks so clean.

My brother on the other side was taking photos with his Redmi Note 13, which is a lot better than mine, he is also into mobile photography and his trademark is DMG, as printed on his jersey. Mobile photography has brought the awareness about core photography, if you can start with a mobile camera then you will be a very good photographer when you keep on pushing with your hand camera.

I asked for a photo of myself, it is always great to keep memories and get back to look at them. The clarity and Exposure was just balanced, we knew where to face to reduce to shadow in photos. I took couple of photos like this, but I loved this one.

It was a sunny day, a dry season to be precise, the sky was just clear with few clouds, it just looked bright and attractive, I couldn't help but capture when a bird was flying by. The environment looks so serene and accommodating with golf field for golfers.

Here is a front view of the ibom Icon resort in my state, Akwa ibom state in Nigeria. It is very clean, with an accommodating hotel . It has a golf field and also a golf academy for golfers, I heard there's a wild reserve but I wasn't able to visit that area as my journey stopped at the golf field, the golf academy, the hotel and the marine part.

Trying to run some model shoot, i used my brother and sister as they both wore a Manchester United jersey, they made a simple pose as I took a clean shot of them.
