Once again, I'm participating in the #seasonhunt challenge, brought to you by @barbara-orenya and the Feel Good Community (@hive-190931). The season is Winter, and the theme this week is Santa and Elves.
At my home this time of year, you can't take a step without bumping into Santa or one of his elves. My wife loves decorating for Christmas! A big part of our indoor decorating involves Analee dolls. These are dolls that you either love...or hate. They were originally handmade in New Hampshire by the Analee family. We've been collecting them as long as we've been married, initially buying them for 50% off at after-Christmas sales. I can still remember the smile on my wife's face when I picked her up from work with Santa seat-belted in the passenger seat. Here he is:
That last photo includes my wife’s childhood doll, along with Jack Skellington, one of her favorite Santas.
Analee doesn't just make Santas, and this week's #seasonhunt isn't just for Santas either. We're supposed to be looking for elves as well. So, here are some Analee elves:
Well, that's all for my entry in this week's #seasonhunt challenge. If you want to join in, you can find details here.

this is epic artwork.
Thanks! I really appreciate your kind words.
Thanks for the opportunity. At times like these, we all need to feel good!
Thank you Feel Good Community.
I didn't know these Analee dolls, it's an interesting collection you have ! 😀 I can understand why you love them, I have to say yet that some are a bit creepy looking..😁
Thanks for your participation @kunschj !
You either love them or hate them, as some can look a bit creepy. We have collected them for years, and still buy a new Analee ornament each year if we see one. We used to attend collector's conventions, where we met Analee and her family. We have some very old Analee skiers that have wooden skis which were carved by hand by Analee's husband. Nowadays, they are made in China, so they are much less attractive to us.
Awe! I love your Elves @kunschj!! I love the Santa's also but Elves and such are even more special to me! The "Frosty Brew" is my favorite of the Santa's .. as I do like a little "brew" here and there. I certainly recognize the Analee designs. I had a few some years ago but we parted ways, on good terms of course! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!! 🎄
Thanks @deerjay. And a Merry Christmas to you as well!
Most welcome!
