#JunesJourney2020 - Day 24: Cliffside bandit camp
Today's #worldbuilding and #mapmaking challenge for the #JunesJourney2020 was to add a cliffside bandit camp to the map! I think this suffers a bit from the tiny size I'm trying to achieve, but once I have the map completed we'll try going over it again and adding larger icons for some of the areas. The tents behind the watch-tower don't show up super well, but hey - that's why I'm doing this! Find out what works, and what doesn't.
The bandits on this cliff are notorious for raiding ships in the bay north-east of them. They've somehow managed to plunder or buy cannons, which they've mounted in a small outpost east of their main encampment, overlooking the bay to the east and affording them some protection from anyone wanting to rid the area of them.
Rumors suggest that these bandits are actually an offshoot or perhaps a secondary branch of the same pirates that raid near Kraken Cove, though these rumors are so far unsubstantiated.
