Cheers - the Magpie Sisters are kind of recurring villains that I've used on a couple of low to mid level parties.
Each of the three has a very different way to mess with the people around them. White disguises herself as a jolly healer, and tells people that if they spit into the healing potions she makes it makes them personalised and more effective. It's true, they operate at max effect. But she takes the residue at the bottom of the pot, and that gives her serious bonuses on scrying. Black disguises herself as an attractive girl and worms her way into the affections of people in useful places. Claw is less subtle. She is the one who kills flocks and terrifies outlying farmsteads. In the last story, she got an "upgrade" - the party failed to stop a ritual that turned her from a Green Hag into a Nighthag 😁
