The Plate of Amorzhen

The Plate of Amorzhen, renowned across the eastern kingdoms, but long since lost to the annuls of time. Its inventor, Fyrizha Lo, is immortalised in the embattled and ruined kingdom of Reythuzar. Her statue stands undamaged at its centre, created from the same Amorzhen metal as her famed armour. Immune to most all damage, it has stood the test of time despite Reythuzar’s bloody history.

Historians and archaeologists have few ideas of the armour’s current whereabouts, each site battled and sought after by the numerous countries of the east, despite their pretences of peace. Adventurers and mercenaries are oft found joining the fray, keen to get their hands on the priceless artifact. Conflicts arising due to the armour have claimed the lives of upwards of twenty thousand over the last century, and doubtless thousands more since its inception.

King Farrez Huthar was the last known owner of the armour, and he used it to lay claim to what is now known as the republic of Ayarthule. Its impenetrable metal and ability to empower the wearer with great strength gave rose to a number of poems and bards’ tales, including ‘The Immortal King’, and ‘Red and Amber Death’.
