Now, I’ve watched Lesnar squashes before. They’re brutal, they’re definitive, they’re final. But this one felt different. Cena barely mounted offense, and the timing (right after he dipped a toe into WOO waters? 😉) had fans like me raising eyebrows.

My Take on the Timing
Punishment theory? WWE has always been protective of their IP and their legends. Did Cena stepping outside the bubble ruffle feathers?
Storyline explanation? Sure, it could just be a plot device. Cena’s always been game to put others over.
Fan perception? At the end of the day, perception matters more than reality. And the perception is that WOO might have spooked the giants.
Why This Matters to WOO
The “forbidden door” energy - If WWE feels the need to react, that means WOO is making noise.
Fan intrigue - Fans love conspiracies (I mean... look at what I'm doing now by writing this post 😁). The idea that Cena got squashed because of WOO only adds fuel to the hype.
Beta timing - This all lines up with WOO’s Beta Pack buildup, making the story impossible to ignore.
Watching Cena get eaten alive was painful — I’m not gonna lie. But as a WOO fan? I couldn’t help but smirk. The timing was too juicy to ignore. And if Cena’s squash even indirectly ties back to WOO, then it just gave us one of the most bizarre but thrilling marketing boosts imaginable.
Whether or not WWE meant it as a shot at Cena’s extracurricular interests, the story writes itself: Follow WOO, get jobbed out by Lesnar. It’s tongue in cheek, it’s conspiratorial, and it’s exactly the kind of narrative fuel that keeps fans like me glued to both wrestling and WOO. If this is what happens when Cena clicks follow, just imagine what’s coming when Beta drops. 🤑
